  • White onion, sliced1
  • Cheez Whiz1 cup
  • Kosher salt1 tsp

Instructions

  1. 1

    Sear hard

Sear the shaved ribeye on a 450°F flat top, using two heavy spatulas to continuously chop and tear the meat fibers as they cook.

  2. 2

    Fold & finish

Fold in the deeply caramelized onions.

  3. 3

    Cheese & roll

Shape the meat into a rectangle matching the roll's dimensions, pour molten Cheez Whiz over the top, and invert the sliced roll over the meat to trap the steam before flipping the entire assembly upright.

Nutrition is estimated from the listed ingredients using standard reference values (USDA FoodData Central). 3 of 4 matched ingredients use verified FoodData Central entries (dictionary snapshot 2026-09-11). Brand, portion, and preparation differences can change the result. Frying fat is counted at the share typically absorbed, and brines drained before cooking are excluded. These figures are an estimate for general interest, not medical or dietary advice.
